A Revolutionary Cadre, Under Socialism, Can Not Be Ignorant Of Economics
"And to be a leader it is not enough to have a revolutionary vocation, not enough to have revolutionary passion, not enough to have revolutionary blood. We must also possess a thorough preparation and a deep knowledge of economic problems, the technical processes of production, because in a bourgeois capitalist society a politician can be anything (…). But under socialism, in the socialist system, leaders, cadres, must be the main drivers of the production processes, the development of the economy; they must deal with, very seriously, the economic problems. A revolutionary cadre, under socialism, can not be ignorant of economics, or the production processes in agriculture and industry. "
…"And when you think of someone, when you think of the men to promote to take on responsibilities, always ask yourself if this man when he has attributes when he has authority, not letting smoke cloud your reason, if that man is the man fit to exercise power. Because there have been many abusers of power in the world; unfortunately very few men who exercised it with serenity. "
