Every Saturday morning Eric King of King World News posts great new interviews of the movers and shakers of the financial world. This week he interviews Rob Arnott & Bill Fleckenstein. After listening to these, I got to browsing Eric's archives and catching up on some of the interviews I missed in the past.
Of special interest to Daily Paul readers will be his December 4, 2009 interview of John Williams of ShadowStats.com and their discussion of John's Hyperinflation Special Report. The report begins:
The US economic and systemic solvency crises of the past two years are just precursors to a great collapse - a hyperinflationary great depression. Such will reflect a complete collapse in the purchasing power of the US dollar, a collapse in the normal stream of US commercial and economic activity, a collapse in the US financial system as we know it, and a likely realignment of the US political environment...
In light of the recent stock market collapse - 5% in one week (an amount it took the previous 10 weeks to gain), the victory of Scott Brown in Massachusetts, and the uncertainty surrounding the reappointment of Ben Bernanke, I think you will agree that this is a very timely interview. On ShadowStats.com, John estimates current US unemployment at 22%
