Madoff Feeder Fund Fires Back at Massachusetts Regulators

A couple days ago we reported that Massachusetts regulators had provided plenty of grist for investors who filed an amended complaint against Fairfield Greenwich Group, the notorious $7 billion Madoff feeder fund. On Wednesday, Fairfield lodged a furious defense with regulators in which its lawyers from Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett call the complaint by Secretary of the Commonwealth William Galvin "grossly unfair" and "filled with errors and factual distortions."
