Ferreira Leite in Greece on invitation of Bilderberg group

The president of PSD (Social Democrat Party), Manuela Ferreira Leite, sets of to Greece today to participate as guest at the annual Bilderberg group conference, as was told to news agency Lusa by a social-democrat source.

The president of PSD returns to Portugal on Saturday, the same source said.

The Bilderberg group has met annually since 1954.

Their meetings are private and restricted to anyone else but guests, and have the participation of personalities with links to politics and business.

One quick note: PSD (center-right) is the second biggest opposition party in Portugal. PS (center-left) holds the executive right now. Legislative elections, for the executive and for Parliament, will be held this year. PSD and MF Leite have been a very weak opposition to PS, and their approval ratings are terrible.

It is not believable, in this point of time, that PSD or Leite hold any chance whatsoever to win any kind of election in Portugal. So her presence at Bilderberg must be justified by some other reason than any one linked to the prospect of her winning the next election.So, at this point in time, I would think she is there for another reason than some election-related purpose. I will get back to you if I discover something else on this subject in the Portuguese media.
