Which peace? We are suffering a war waged by Muslims and speculative finance!
The “incontrovertible” argument of Euro-optimists is that, like it or not, this Europe of the god euro, bankers, bureaucrats and pseudo-democracy has guaranteed for the first time in the Old Continent’s history over half a century of peace. Peace! Which peace?
Between 2001 and 2002 two events changed the course of our history: the global war against Islamic terrorism and the entrance of the euro in the international financial market. Well, ten years after we record, on one hand, the sharp and unstoppable success of the Jihad, the “holy war” declared and by Islamic radicalism throughout the world even within the West, and on the other hand, the unleashing of a war that is impoverishing the people, squandering public assets, destroying the sovereignty of States, sparked by the globalized speculative finance after the collapse of the banks indebted by toxic securities whose amount exceeds 12 times the value of GDP, namely the real goods and services produced worldwide.
While ten years ago the West was to promote the offensive against Al Qaeda after the tragedy of the Twin Towers, today we are witnessing the shocking alliance between the West and the Islamic radicalism, which has taken on the persuasive face of the Muslim Brothers, by eventually result in the convergence of the interests of the supporters of the Islamic holy war and the globalized financial war.
We touch this alliance, for instance, in Syria, where Islamic militants of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Salafists and Al Qaeda are supported both by Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar and the United States, Great Britain, France and Germany; as well as we see the financial alliance between international investment banks, western central credit institutions and Islamic sovereign wealth funds in the acquisition of the west’s productive and real estate assets after reducing to bankrupt the entrepreneurs and the states.
If ten years ago Al Qaeda had only Afghanistan as a secure base in accordance with the strategic alliance with the Taliban, while the bulk of the attacks in Muslim countries and within the West were assigned to cells that operated secretly, today Al Qaeda directly controls some territories and handles them in the same way as government authority in Somalia, Mali, Nigeria and Yemen, as well as it is able to burden its presence through the weapon of terrorism in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, Egypt, Algeria and Indonesia.
If ten years ago the West, for better or for worse, supported on the southern and eastern Mediterranean autocratic regimes essentially lay, even if irresponsibly promoters of Islamization of their societies in the illusion that accepting the instances of Islamic radicals was emptying of content their claim to undermine them from power, today the West is everywhere deployed alongside the Muslim Brothers, sworn enemies of secularism and substantial democracy, apostles of sharia, Islamic law, of the “holy war” explicit against Israel and disguised against Jews, Christians, apostates, infidels and women.
Only yesterday the news reported the explosion of three car bombs in the center of the “free” Tripoli, capital of Libya finally freed from the tyrant Gaddafi; the landing at Lampedusa of about 400 illegal immigrants, half fled from sub-Saharan Africa and half fled from Tunisia, the cradle of the so-called “Arab Spring” that should have given democracy and prosperity and that is proving to be the tragic deception of the transition from a secular dictatorship in which there was room for democratic emancipation in an Islamic dictatorship that is a sworn enemy of substantial democracy and the fundamental rights of the person; the affront to the archbishop of Milan, Cardinal Angelo Scola, whose greeting was not read by Muslims gathered to celebrate the end of Ramadan, the month of the Koran fasting, event that would have unlikely occurred with his predecessor Tettamanzi advocate of the construction of a large mosque and small mosques in every neighborhood of Milan.
Yesterday also died Angelo Di Carlo, 54 years old, unemployed, that on August 11th set himself on fire in order to protest in front of Montecitorio. What has him to do with Muslims? It has to do because he is a victim of parallel wars simultaneously conducted by the speculative finance and the Islamic radicalism that are amazingly allies. These wars have financial, economic and social costs that exceed those of the first and second world war; they produce victims, killed people, suicides out of desperation, unemployed who are dead inside, and do not know certainties or hopes.
They have completely overturned the Constitution and democracies by imposing Islamic and financial dictatorships; they have erased national and monetary sovereignty by subjecting the States to transnational and international foreign powers. The truth is that we are at war on several fronts and we are far from being aEuropethat has ensured peace!
