Greatest Financial Crime in World History
Since Bush Jr., the FBI does not "do" white collar crime (see below testimony of Prof Wm. Black, who helped bring the S&L scandal to light). Obama has stuck to the Bush play book. None of this is surprising if you consider that the Bush-Obama team actually signed the TARP (bailout) simultaneously and live on TV -- a crime itself since the Constitution does not entitle government to transfer even one cent of our money from the people to a private business, much less from the poor and middle class to the most wealthy people on the planet!
Yes, I said it: CRIME! In the open and public. It was grand theft and fraud. Most TV viewers thought they were witnessing a remedy to our financial ills, but in fact, the perpetrators were the ones behind the bill -- and the ones signing it. The result has been not a single contribution to our economy, which is getting worse and worse, but worse: a debt that seems simply unpayable within the life time of our children, including those not yet born!
There are a few people, considered loonies by many, who see US politics -- Western politics in general -- as a big puppet show, with the World Ruling Class (fabulously rich financiers, politicians and business men) pulling the strings of our politicians.
I dunno, maybe the real loonies are the ones who see it all unfurling before their eyes, pretend it's not happening, and continue rooting for their favorite puppet team -- GOP or Democrats -- as though anything these wooden-headed mechanical figures might do could possibly change our economic future.
When America finally wakes up and starts booing and jeering the puppet masters and voting for the "loonies" who repudiate them, then US politics may make some sense again.
If the damage done in our mesmerized state isn't permanent by that time.
