Karl Schwarz video-interview (1 of 3)

1. Hello Mr. Schwarz, in reviewing information about what your company does what do you think is driving the excitement about nanotechnology?
2. So, if I understand that answer completely........ nanotechnology is making profound changes in existing industries that are dying and is on the other hand creating entire new industry sectors to create new high-tech jobs. Is that accurate?
3. What do you think sets your company apart from or ahead of your competition?
4. So, in making high purity carbon nanostructures at industrial volumes, you then direct those as the building blocks for a wider array of products and profit making enterprises?
5. I have looked at the presentation you made at ILA Berlin 2010 on June 9. Can you inform viewers who was in that audience and what sort of impact that presentation made on them?
6. Is it accurate to say at this time that your company is aligned with the Germany, Ukraine and Russian aerospace companies, and maybe even beyond that?
7. Does that include both carbon nanostructures production and the secondary products your company will make from those building blocks?
8. What sort of opportunities does your company foresee for Italy?
9. When considering what I know thus far about nanotechnology, is it accurate to say that so many nations and universities are focused on this new science because of the impact it is going to have on our economies, job creation and future on this planet?
10. I am aware of the projects that you are working on in Germany, I think seven major nanotechnology production centers. Can you tell the viewers about what those facilities will be making?
11. Do you see similar types of opportunities for Italy and the diverse manufacturing base we have?
12. Many talk about the risks of nanotechnology. Can you address that for our viewers?
13. So with proper process designs, procedures and safety precautions, much of nanotechnology is not that dangerous?
14. Is it accurate to say that nanotechnology is the next Industrial Revolution or next IT revolution?
15. So, those nations that are at the forefront of research, development and production in nanotechnology are going to emerge as the leading producers in the future in this scientific and technology niche?
16. Due to your direct involvement, who do you think is leading in nanotechnology at this time?
17. Is it accurate to say that your alignment with Austria, Germany, Ukraine and Russia are a result of the lead they have in the commercialization of nanotechnology?
18. It appears that nations have a choice of being producers and innovators in nanotechnology or they will remain as customers and consumers. Is that a fair assessment to make?
