Dear Friend of GATA and Gold:
At the New Orleans Investment Conference last Sunday your secretary/treasurer spent a few minutes with U.S. Rep. Ron Paul, the conference's valedictory speaker. I gave Paul a copy of Federal Reserve Board Governor Kevin M. Warsh's September 17 letter to GATA admitting that the Fed has and is concealing gold swap agreements with foreign banks (http://www.gata.org/files/GATAFedResponse-09-17-2009.pdf), but the congressman remarked that he already had received a copy and considered the letter one more reason to support his legislation to audit the Fed. Later GATA supporter Richard Campbell from Arkansas took a photograph certifying your secretary/treasurer as one of the many Paul groupies at the conference, whom the congressman patiently indulged.
