Orphaned by the EU

A recent report by Poland's ministry of labour and social policy on the subject has rattled many cages of complacent officialdom. According to its findings, last year alone, 1,299 children ended up in children's homes after being abandoned by parents forced by poverty to seek employment in the rest of the EU. (more)
